That's it. I'm in touch with Dalby about AFRA involvement but not mentioned a date, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. BTW, a Tiger and Stug available! :roll:

OK IED don't appear to be doing anything on that date , lemme get the site review done this week .

OK 200 miles, one sore ass later , oh yeah and it rained :roll:

The site has been thinned out a little , the denser forest has had some trees and a lot of the self seeded undergrowth taken out. The deforested bit in the middle is now full of small self seeded saplings 3-4 foot tall, overall it's an improvement .

The roads are still fine, a little bit chewed up in places but all Land rover proof .

so off to ask IED for the Bonk holiday date ,. :good:

Jed's dropped into occupied frogland prior to D-Day to kick off a campaign of assassination, sabotage and other nefarious stuff would work nicely.

Plus, 2nd SS Panzer Corps were in France re-fitting at the time, so thats the Das Reich, Hohenstaufen & Frundsberg stuff sorted - not to mention that 21st Panzer Div were there as well, sorting the Heer lads out nicely. Sure there was some FJ being refitted there as well.

All in all, nice and simple!

I've told A55 we've binned the event for this year and cheers an all that . The site is not as good a GC .
